Water based environmentally friendly.
The below resin castings are a great example of what can be achieved with the wonderful and varied resins available on the market these days.
A master copy was CNC router from a base material. This master copy was then sealed and prepped to cast a mold. The mold was formed over the master copy using appropriate silicon. A silicon mold allows for flexibility when de-molding.
On this particular order, the text detail was CNC router engraved and painted to colour.
Given the ‘older world’, French flair required in the design we bespoke manufactured, the clasps / brackets to hold the signs from 15 mm thick water jet cut aluminium and then roughened each bracket by hand to weathered / aged look and feel, and finally blackened to suit.
Note that the resin used in this production is a WATER BASED resin with crushed marble fill giving it a natural stone finish. The resin is UV stable and, being water based,
is environmental friendly
